There are so many causes for back pain -- nerve damage, several kinds of disc damage, vertebrae damage, pelvic damage............

Yes, you are correct, there ARE many causes of back pain, of which you have mentioned a few. There are MUCH more. And ALL affect the adjacent muscles causing muscular tightness and spasms which in turn causes pain. My back was injured years ago resulting presently in arthritis and now exhibiting pain from muscular spasms. The Actipatch has helped me tremendously for whatever reason. I am no medical mind, but I assume the wearing of the patch is a therapy for relaxing the muscle tightness in my back thus relieving the pain. Yes, I am calling it a "therapy" because when worn every night while sleeping, I can go all day without patch with no pain. I have even skipped a day of wearing and still no pain for a couple days. Pain will return eventually, so then I continue with a few more days of "therapy". There are medical minds in my family so this has been verified as a possible result of the this PEMF --- 'therapy'.
