Ummmm. Lots of companies say their drug doesn't work.... After a failed P2 or P3 trial. Going into the trials, of course they don't. If they didn't think the drug would work they wouldn't spend the money for the trial.

It's the unknown unknowns that getcha.

That is one of the reasons large numbers are used in trials. Large numbers increase the opportunity for the unknowns to show up.

The future's so bright I have to wear shades.
