There are several cafes that have added board games, but they are not like Snakes... Many of them have started and failed over the years, Snakes keeps growing.

Very few of them have an impressive wall of games (expensive)... and this is often mentioned in reviews. It blows people away..

Very few of them can charge a cover and have experienced Gurus helping people venture into new and exciting titles... which can lead to instore game sales and/or them coming back shortly after to play again...

Selling the games + alcohol + gourmet food + hosting tournaments + Designer Nights + hosting game parties + Marketing (Nintendo, etc) are all significant aspects... Most game cafe aren't packed until the early hours of the morning, at less than half of the capacity/seating of Snakes.
