Ron, I like muni bonds, especially the individual bonds, although I do have some funds with Fidelity and Vanguard. Most of my muni bonds have a 5%+ interest, so I am happy. Also have a corporate bond with GE earning 5.875% and due in 2038.
I prefer more of the dividend payers, including preferred shares with rates of 6%+ and I was referring to the coupons from here. I rarely buy hot stocks, still do not chase them. I wait for the next train to come to the station.
