The terrorism problem is everywhere there's unhinged people - and that's Europe, UK, US and every other nation.

A 47 year old Methodist from Cardiff Wales, Darren Osborne, drove a rented van into a group of worshipers gathered near a north London mosque as Ramadan prayers ended shortly after midnight killing one person who died at the scene and injuring 10 more.

This is the fourth terrorist attack in the UK in the past 3 months. Police said the counter-terrorism unit was investigating the father of four to determine when and how he had become radicalized.

Witnesses said an imam implored the crowd outside the Muslim Welfare House in Finsbury Park who were holding the man not to harm him but deliver him over to authorities, which they did when the police arrived.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan, said, “Like the terrible attacks in Manchester, Westminster and London Bridge, this is an assault on all our shared values of tolerance, freedom and respect."

Speaking outside her Downing Street residence, Prime Minister Theresa May also delivered a strongly worded statement saying, “Like all terrorism, in whatever form, it shares the same fundamental goal: It seeks to drive us apart and to break the precious bonds of solidarity and citizenship we share in this country."

May added that it was a “reminder that terrorism, extremism and hatred take many forms” and the government’s determination to tackle this would be robust, regardless of which community it was directed against.

There has been far too much tolerance of extremism in our country over many years, and that means extremism of any kind — including Islamophobia,” May said.

Chairman Mohammed Kozbar said that on Saturday, members of different faiths had met to remember the slain Labor Party member of Parliament Jo Cox, who was stabbed and shot in the days before Britain's referendum on its membership in the European Union by a supporter of far-right organizations.

Street parties, spearheaded by her widowed husband Brendan, took place around the country over the weekend under the banner of celebrating that Britain has "more in common than that which divides us," which Cox had said during a speech in Parliament.

Kozbar said the gathering in Finsbury Park had taken place at the Muslim Welfare House, not far from where Monday's attack occurred.

Seperately in the US, police in Virginia arrested Darwin Torres, a 22 year old Catholic and charged him with the death of a teenage girl who was reported missing after she was last seen leaving a mosque on Sunday. Police have said it is too soon to determine if this murder is a terrorist event.
