Despite high stakes by most of CEO (specially bio tech co) - they take wrong decisions - tell lies and fail to deliver - which is why many bio-tech fail and fold and investors lose money - I have personally lost in few.

So as investors we need to question CEOs actions and do not follow them blindly. Also many CEOs are not ready to manage full co operations and either pure scientist or just financiers.

In biotechs - certain steps such as pk/pd data have expected timelines - and if companies start slipping them - assume that something is wrong

So investors asking such questions is absolutely right and necessary. This is not advising CEO to run company but just due diligence (even GE CEO resigned as GE performance is not at par)
