The 80's is also when the "fat free" trend started thanks to questionable research. But taking out all the fat means losing flavor...so say hello to tons of added sugar! I think this is a major component of our obesity epidemic.

Thanks for sharing your wisdom, by the way. I spent a LOT of time playing video games as a kid, but thankfully I was also active outdoors, and went on many camping trips (Eagle Scout here). Kids might be glued to the screens but there's still hope!
