In terms of back casing, Apple has all the flexibility for last minute production decision for ip7s+.

My bet is they will wait for FCC answer on mid field (2 to 3 ft) wireless charging (which is due any days now) before they decide with the back case material.

1. Aluminum with no wireless (most likely for 7S) to cover low end.
2. BMG with wireless (most likely for 7S+) to cover mid end.

In that case, volume will not be huge and Li might be able to manage.

But of course, until BMG can meet Apple spec, all this talk is premature.
