One thing that could trump that (no pun intended) is them announcing they met the deadline for recreational sales. All they had to do was make product, sell it, book the revenue and then pay the taxes. As long as the taxes got paid we are compliant for recreational sales starting July 1st. No need for an application to be approved. Paying the taxes is the key.
