Although served cold, Prosecco sales are white hot — worldwide exports up 67 percent in three years, sales topped $1.84 billion last year. 2015

Riding that wave, Italy produced their biggest crop ever for Prosecco — 467 million bottles in 2015.

in 2013 the UK alone the top brand did $18 million, while private label prosecco sold $116 million. Altogether close to $200 million in Prosecco in the UK alone. Sales have at least tripled in the UK since then.
