I think the real question should be has GDX/NUGT already seen their high for the day. Because, well, you know...when Gold was flat to down a point yesterday...miners got trounced. Today, Gold is up 10 points and they are struggling for footing.

One more report at 10:00 am ET (consumer confidence)...then we'll likely fall into sleepy trading for the remainder of the day before the long weekend.
