My take on all the speculation is that
NAK will be bought out by a much bigger
player because of the lucrative deal
for NAK that will be far to great for them to walk
away from.
In other words, an offer they can't refuse.
Could happen sooner then later.

I read in northern miner that this could be
as long as a 75 year life for this project.
Probably due to the final environmental impact
study scaling back operations to meet the
strict environmental standards of the US
government and the state of Alaska.

The CEO of NAK even remarked on a possible scaled back startup
of operations when final permitting was achieved.
Remember, they have to please a lot of people like the local
native population and the people of the state of Alaska.
So they are walking on eggs so to speak.

Just my take on a possible outcome.
