I understand what he is saying but you don't understand how a report is generated

When said company publishes a report they give the share structure as of the date of publishing, get it?

So they published an annual report on 4/18 and in that cover page is the share structure on 4/18.
Now in that report you can find where shares went in that period or what for
But the fact remains the same
