http://www.Moley.com will be selling automated kitchens, faithfully reproducing every step and gesture of top Michelin chefs. Consumer units will cost $20,000 with a refrigerator and dishwasher included. Of course they may easily do the work of a sous chef working with a chef, or replace the entire staff of fast food and chain restaurants.

A journalist asked why Moley's consumer robot chopped onions so slowly - they said consumers in focus groups found the culinary robot chopping onions as quickly as it could with a sharp knife was disturbing - so they slowed it down to a pace consumers were more comfortable with. If it's not Moley's product within a year it will be plenty of other choices within five years. Big changes afoot.

It's fun to drive and fun to cook, but it's also fun to sit back and let the Auto-Cuisinier or the Self-Drive handle these tasks. More time with your guests.
