I must confess to being somewhat confused as to which chip is exactly what size but I can tell you that 80% yield for a 44mm2 die is not at all exceptional. For a considerably larger die it is out of the question.

....the Ryzen 8 core die is about 200mm^2......... for that there is NO doubt...............the doubt is the claim (in that piece) of 80% yields...
...of course, you will never get confirmation from AMD or GF.......but if true, it's excellent.....AMD has said yields have been good......GF has said much the same.......but no numbers
