My wife and I live on .5 acres at 1200' elevation with a north facing slope, incredibly high clay content, poorly drained soils, partial shade site next to a loud, busy road... We grow almost all of our own food...

You don't need the perfect place, 20 acres, out in the country, pure and clean and perfect and expensive in order to make it happen!
