I'm sorry but I have a differing opinion. HUGE profits can be gained by Holding the right stocks.
But few have the patience...they feel its too boring. They want to be "in the game" making decision,
trying to predict upturns or downturns.... I can name the stocks I have been in and if I had only held...
multi millionaire.

If traders were as successful as they claim to be, buying and selling daily, or weekly, then they would have been the millionaires they wanted within 5 or ten years...and be living the life of Riley.
But that rarely is the case. Over the long run, just like in a Casino...the house wins...
