Now I’m (more?) confused.

What did I incorrectly say was 1/100th of a cent?

Zac said
1,000,000 X .0001 = $100
100,000 X .0001 = $10
10,00 X .0001 = $1
1000 X .0001 = $.10
100 X .0001 = $.01
10 X .0001 = $.001
1 X .0001 = $.0001

Then I said

100 x .0001 is 1/100th of a cent, NOT one penny!
And 10,00 X .0001 is NOT one dollar!

That is correct - .0001 x 100 is 1/100th of a cent - not 1/100th of a dollar.
.0001 x 10,000 is a penny.

But 10,00(0) X .0001 DOES NOT equal $1, it equals 1¢.

Well this discussion sure seems to have taken a childish turn. wink
