I do that sometimes but only when I believe and expect the units will drop more than the amount of the distribution. I have no reason to think along those lines with AMZA. Remember---it holds a bunch of MLPs, not just one. Two or three would have to suddenly drop out of favor to justify a wholesale change.
I love trading in and out of picks but I always make a point of thinking things through very carefully without allowing myself to act upon impulse.
And I rarely close out a position in its entirety unless I see things pointing towards an inevitable demise. More likely, I'll sell a quarter to a third of my position, probably to raise cash for a better pick.
