The report stated that there are 200 companies competing with a some type of product. That data had to come from GTE. (CNBC did not spend the days it would take to compile that) This says that GTE is watching the competition as closely as hawks watch prey (which is as it should be), and knowing what they know is keeping everything top secret because, of course, the 200 competitors are each also watching GTE like a hawk.
