Sure, but they lack the motivation to do the research in the first place as they have already convinced themselves that the product will not work. To use an apt analogy, it doesn't matter how nice of a man you actually are, if a lady believes you are a criminal and a thug upon first meeting you there is no way she will want to go on a date. That, or just the opposite will happen and she will become immediately infatuated, but that disrupts my narrative so disregard that as a possibility.

The point is that the objective should be to win the comment section over by explaining briefly how the technology actually does work in relatively layman's terms. Then follow up with encouraging them to look more into it themselves by contacting tech support.
