With low volume, if you keep lowering your price and selling into lower bids, you create downside pressure. Just like lots of buying at market price creates buying pressure. With stocks that don't have a lot of daily money in and out (like MXSG in this "pre-game" point in time) it is highly manipulable. Someone with enough shares purchased cheaply can essentially force the price down by continuously selling low. Eventually they run out of shares to sell, news comes out, buying pressure resumes, etc. When you look at a thin Level 2 (not many orders for buys/sells) you are looking at a stock that can move big in either direction.
