Maybe. Disney put more than $12 million into POW! over the 7 (?) years of the first look deals.

There are also considerations of how the new company would use Stan's name and likeness and it's potential impact on Disney and the Marvel brand.

Maybe Stan has forgotten how Stan Lee Media turned out.

Maybe POW! needs to be appraised.
