You will see similar behavior in almost any small stock suddenly getting attention. Volatility is created by market makers, traders, and investors. Good luck trying to pinpoint it. Walter noted a Belgian investor caused the large spike to $1.51 by placing a market order. This may have very well set off the sell-off everyone is overanalyzing.
