GEL recently relinquished its claims for equitable and declaratory relief and its ability to keep the contracts in force and effect on a going-forward basis. Therefore, the Company is now filing this Current Report on Form 8-K to confirm that the parties’ agreements, including the Crude Supply Agreement and the JMA, have terminated.

Apparently GEL blinked first.

Is this "good" news? Well the assumptive answer is a nervous YES.

But it begs the question who or what will fill the void left behind by GEL??.. and how quickly was feedstock restored to the plant??

I know very little about how these supply arrangements work. The Eagle-Ford oil patch with its myriad of vertical wells and perhaps as much as a million miles of intersecting pipelines died back in the late 80's early 90's...mothballed... and was only recently given new life with the new technology of fracking.

If memory serves me right the Nixon plant has pipelines owned by KOCH coming in to and out of the facility. I have no idea what possibilities - if any - could arise from that. I'm talking about things I have no knowledge or expertise in...and that may be a dead idea..or just a "pipe" dream (pun intended) with no possibility of happening. OK ...fair enough...but necessity is the mother of invention and opportunities may be ripe given the right parties & circumstances. Up until now the Nixon facility was requiring hundreds of tanker trucks daily rolling through town to supply feedstock. Locals will put up with that for a while but it typically never ends well imo. We'll see.

Whatever or whoever Blue Dolphin teams up with to get the plant back on line will be welcome news. Its time for this operation to get out of 2nd gear and hit its stride in production.

It can't happen soon enough.

To better days!
