But AMD had a shaky lead at best with Athlon. And the brand difference definitely fell on the Intel side. Look at the damn financials.



You sure leave out the juicy bits. Otis and Mikie, "best friend money can buy". Intel has acted like a thug, using monopoly profits to put the OEMs on notice that, using AMD would be hazardous to their rebate status.
