On another note, my Marlins have received a bid for a buyout from Derek Jeter, and Jeb Bush, an unusual combination, but if they can keep the franchise together, and maybe keep the team consistent for the fans of South Florida, this could work out well.
Old Wayne Huizenga finally put together a great team, won the World Series, and then sold off almost every member of that team within a couple of months. He broke a lot of hearts, including mine and my son.
The fans of South Florida just walked away from the franchise after that, and ever since it has been a struggle to keep the team in tact. The Marlins did come back one more time to win the World Series, and they got rid of that team, of course then the new owner sold the Marlins again, and I think ended up in Boston, correct me Lee.
