But for that to hold the same weight, you would be saying that the reputations of the two firms in question are based off the same criteria. I don't know much DD on the opposing firm, but I'll eat my shoes if their W/L record is comparable to R&G. That said, of course the opposing firm took the defendants case, they were probs on retainer, and sure as HELL weren't on contingency. Even shitty public defenders take cases they have no chance of winning; they still get paid, don't they?
