Totally agree Bob.
The entire case is designed to be so confusing and the information so old and convoluted that when it's all said and done anyone who wants to argue would need a team of lawyers and another 10 years.

By then many crimes are past any statute and a lot of victims/witnesses are dead.

When the final gavel drops whatever lands in our buckets we better be happy with because it's all we will ever get.
