On the Ignore Deal, it's just not that satisfing, it's almost like down here in Florida, we have mosquitoes, it's hard to Ignore them.. Some Floridians use all manner of weird things to repel them including Bounce Dryer Sheets, or they just buy a can of Deep Woods Off (Ignore).
When one is buzzing around my ear and bothering me, I just prefer to Slap the Sh_t out of it, much more satisfying.

Or sometimes a well thought out retorical statement keeps them at bay for at least a few days anyway. If you dont do something, the piles they leave draws Flys.
At which point I have to plug in my Bug Zapper.
