Money talks... it's usually louder than anything else when it comes to governments/corperarions. Too much money from MMJ and rec to be made to stop anything now. It'll be a worldwide thing (or at least western) within 3-4 years (or an election cycle) my guess is republicans will try to win the next US election by federally legalizing weed, it'll be down to the states (just as LOTS is down to the provinces) until then.
