Thanks for the clarification. I knew the ex div date was two days prior to the date of record. What had me confused was if the date of record was close of business on April 20, 2017, then would the ex dividend date be close of business two days prior (close of business today 4/18)....I guess not. Seemed pretty clear with the drop in price overnight but just wanted to make sure and learn something myself. Thanks again.
