And he wants to market it as a party favor. Supplements don't get sold next to twinkies. They get tucked away in the health food isle next to the Metamucil.
You're using the example of Lazy Cakes which is the exact same thing.
The issue is not that the Melatonin is in a brownie. It's that neither company are marketing it for what it is. A sleep aid.
