Sources claims Apple intends to use an "improved" version of the stainless steel currently used to produce Apple Watch products. Whether the metal will be polished like the wearable or treated produce a matte finish is unclear.


So it will be Jet Cooled, Partially Amorphous. If you put a strong magnet to the frame of the iPhone 4 it will be partially magnetic. BUT Apple will Never refer to it as LiquidMetal.
It sucks to be so damn close but so far, and no-one cares about the all internal BMG components.
Thank goodness for Prof. Li and his non-CE customers.
And Li still has a card up his sleeve to play with Apple, can't wait for him to stamp out LiquidMetal (DC-105s) phone frames that wont infringe on Apple's rights.
