Speaking of high level connections.....I was just presented with a question asking me :

What's the difference between Actipatch and Recovery RX?

I was always told by the company that both Actipatch and RecoveryRx have the same frequency ( like both are tuned in to the same radio station as an example ) but Recovery Rx has the volume higher, therefore it is stronger.

However, When I went to the Bielcorp website to find the answer, I notice that Recovery Rx and Actipatch both have the same technology specs.

http://www.bielcorp.com/technology/

http://www.recoveryrx.co/technology/

It was my understanding that the Knee patch was considered an Actipatch and that the Smart Insole was a RecoveryRX device , yet both received OTC clearance using the Actiband ( which was an Actipatch then changed to a Recoveryrx due to needing a prescription) as a predicate but both have the exact same specs.

So is it now my understanding that there are NOT 2 different devices?

Is the new higher powered device that Andy talks about going to be the future RecoveryRX?

I have always said that Actipatch's vision should have been an OTC well being device while Recovery RX should be the Medical/Pain relief device meaning Actipatch should have been marketed as to Re-Energize your sore muscles and tired joints ( thereby eliminating the need for an FDA claim for pain relief ) and RecoveryRX ( supposedly higher power ) should be the medical device for pain relief to attract Big Pharma. Both would be OTC just that RecoveryRX would have been FDA cleared for pain. Even though both relieve pain ( just like Avon's Skin So Soft didn't have to claim it repelled mosquito's, even though that's what made the product successful) . Biel could have had a business model where Actipatch could have been available in hotel rooms at resorts like Disney, Universal , Las Vegas Casinos , Gyms and fitness centers etc etc. and could have generated sales while having the RecoveryRX device go through the FDA process.

Is it possible that this type of confusion is the hold up regarding NHS in the UK and even the rollout here in the US?

I couldn't agree more with your statement Seven: "Without those high level connections, you can have the best widget in the world, but it's not going to get appropriate recognition because the big boys can't hear or see you."

Been here since May 5th 2009 .... Not my company but I would have done things a bit differently. Sometimes instead of playing the cards you are dealt you think outside the box and change the game.

Have a Happy Holiday Weekend.
