Yes, I think that is not only very possible, I would consider it likely. Let's face it, most of the usual target market for penny stock pumps won't buy "higher priced" penny stocks over $1. That market is usually occupied by more sophisticated and experienced investors (yes, investors - not flippers or traders) who are less likely to fall for their claims.
But if the statements made by the new posters on I-Hub who got caught in these suspension is any indication, it seems many were not experienced or sophisticated at all. So where did they find out about the companies, and what convinced them to buy?
