No, no... it's gotta be the nForce 590 mobo. It's the only mobo that allows you to run SLI with the Conroe CPU.

I'l stick with Maximum PC's list thus far:

- Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800
- nForce 590 XLI Intel mobo
- 2 GB Corsair DDR2/800 (SLI ready)
- PC Power Silencer 750 power supply

Videocards: Gotta be nVidia. Gotta be SLI. But which ones? Two 7900 GTXs will set you back about $1,000.

Hard drives: Raptors? Or the new 500/750 GB monsters? Both? Hmmm....
