I find these do make a difference for daily muscle aches, particularly low back pain and aching shoulders, and I could be wrong but I think wearing one on a scarf round my neck at night helps me sleep better! You kind of don't expect them to work then they do. Not as effective with stronger pain for me. The only disadvantage is that the light is visible under thinner clothing like my work uniform, although I looked quite festive at Christmas!
