CAPC For the year ended December 31, 2016, international sales were approximately $2.4 million, or 8% of revenue, compared with $1.2 million, or 8% of revenue, in 2015. This represents an increase of $1.2 million, or 100%, in international sales. Cost of sales for the year ended December 31, 2016 and 2015 were approximately $23.2 million and $12.1 million respectively, an increase of $11.1 million, or 92%, from 2015. Now, the cost of sales increase is directly related to the increase in sales volume. As a percent to revenue, the cost was 75.8% and 76% respectively, slightly lower than in 2015. Despite rising labor costs in China, the combined impact of the lower cost of oil and the appreciation of the US dollar against Chinese currency has resulted in overall material and product costs remaining steady during the year.
