We should never expect to beat the machines responsible for these crazy wide swings. One thing is for sure, though---it's premeditated bullshit designed to scare the crap out of investors. One look at the trading volume tells you everything--- there's no news and while volume is heavier than it's been recently, the fact remains that there's no news to justify the swing.
