If you want the guy that has less extra base hit, a lower obp, drives in less runs, and hit less homers, if that is what you think is better I will never convince you and you will never convince me. because that's what ellsbury did last year.

Ellsbury had 9 Homers, 38 xbh, and 56 rbis, and a 330 obp, 71 runs scored and 703 ops

Granderson had 30 homers, 59 xbh and 59 rbis and a 335 obp, 88 runs scored, and a 799 ops.

If you come to the conclusion ellsbury had a better season I don't know what to tell you. as for beltran he was brutal in the field defensvely. but defensively granderson was way better. That is why granderson has a higher war, I'll take granderson year overall in my opinion. Beltran had a better offensive year that I will agree with, but granderson is a way better hitter then your giving him credit for he draws a lot of walks works counts, and gets you about 60 xbh and doesn't hurt you in the field in my opinion.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
