KAST, VDRM's Competition? Thought some would like to know about KAST, the company so much is posted about and the one that Steve Keough and Thru Pharma LLC dba Dakota Life Sciences has merged with. (It’s interesting this company couldn’t do business as (dba) a company with only one name.) All information is verifiable using the links I have given and other DD you may want to do. Dakota Life Sciences was a private company so not a lot of business info is available. Steve Keough’s history has already been discussed a length here.

Here is KAST

The Company
(KAST) Kasten Biopharma or Kasten Inc. It’s listed as both in different areas of the web. Kasten Biopharma is its website name. The Nevada Secretary of State has Kasten Inc.

Current Company Leadership info before merger

Jose Delgado

Michael Handley Executive Chairman

Share Control Persons before merger
Prancer Inc – 50,000,000 Shares of Common Stock, 39.215%

The Company
Here is the business address according to the bottom of the website’s front page. This is the same address on Dakota Life Sciences’s web page.
Jose Delgado
(702) 860-2407
304 Bishop Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06610

This address is found on other documents I looked at. I believe this may be the post merger address but I’m not positive that is the case. I believe they incorporated in Nevada.

Las Vegas, NV

A Brief History
KAST hasn’t been around long. Kasten used to be Geo Vision International Group. It changed its name in October/November of 2013. I found this out through the KAST iHub posts #4093, #4083, #4080. I can’t find it any other place to confirm a date but it obviously happened. Post #4080 states 10/15/2013. They also had a 1-300 Reverse split in October/November of 2013 (Post #4061). It was a sub penny .000 stock at the time. According to their iHub page in early October of 2016 the stock started rolling with no apparent reason. Some of the stockholders thought it was a dead company before this started. (Read the posts 4083-4112)

After reading the following it would appear that someone obviously knew something was up with KAST and started buying. On 6/29/2016 KAST asked for reinstatement and turned in 2 other documents with new info on the company. (See State Department Links) Their last previous activity with the state was 3/23/2014. You can make your own inferences on what caused the reinstatement activity. On November 10, 2016 KAST informed their shareholders about a change of direction:
https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/KAST/news/Kasten--Inc--Announces-Shareholder-Update-on-Company-Direction?id=144533&b=y

Shortly after this (3months) they announced the agreement with Thru Pharma LLC dba Dakota Life Sciences. http://www.nasdaq.com/press-release/kasten-inc-announces-signed-joint-venture-agreement-with-dakota-life-sciences-20170103-00255

The KAST iHub page is still titled Geo Vision International, which I found odd. It’s probably because there are no Moderators for it. If you look there has been very little activity on it for the past few years. The most current page of activity has some interest insight to the company. Looking at charts KAST stock price is high (+$1) but has VERY little volume, some days 0.

KAST isn’t much different from many other OTCs. They have brought in a couple of companies because they had nothing themselves. They have a sub-licensing agreement with a company for an antimicrobial formulation or some sort. It is a poor press release, very vague about the agreement itself and the wrong name of the company it’s with; it is Novel Formulations & Technologies. https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/KAST/news/Kasten--Inc--Announces-Agreement-for-Sublicensing-of-Novel-Formulation-of-Bactracin-for-Drug-Resistant-Bacteria?id=144741&b=y
Kasten also had an agreement announced with Gulf Coast Pharmaceutical, Inc. It is still listed on their website but the deal was not executed, announcement made in a January 19 press release. Why you wouldn’t remove this is beyond me. I’m sure it will be now.

It would appear that KAST was a company that was in trouble and was changed/shelled and used to get Dakota Life Sciences into a public company. If Dakota was that big of a deal why wouldn't they insist on a name change having their name involved in some way in the new company. Instead they were allowed be be absorbed by a company that really has nothing. I am curious to see how much Dakota owners own of the new company now and how much Keough was willing to give up to get the deal done. Dakota Life Sciences reported income at times of around $650k but it’s impossible to verify because it was a private LLC. I’ll let you make your own judgments as to the profitability of the LLC. According to the last quarterly report there were 2 primary shareholders that owned 83.92% of KAST. How much did they have to give up? All answers should be coming when they get their reports together. How long that will take remains to be seen.

This partnership far from perfect. It can be debated about patents, no patents, sales rights, no sales rights, manufacturing rights, no manufacturing rights.......

You decide how of a competitor they are.
