So much for all those who believe huge volume proves something huge is coming.


People need to remember that the mantra "volume precedes price" is only a mantra - it isn’t a certainty.
"Sometimes volume precedes price" would be a factual statement, but that would mean that sometimes it doesn’t, so why say it?

The trading signals generated by the analysis of money flow are often reversal points. In some cases, however, only short-lived changes in volume persist, which could result in false signals. Like all leading indicators, money flow tools are sensitive and require confirmation from additional analysis..

I’ve seen no additional analysis to corroborate the theory that the recent accumulation means a damn thing.
