No, we pay generally around 26 percent of every gain. No long or short term holdings matter. A spin off is considered as dividend with the same rate. Problem is the value. I guess they will use the value of Siaf at the spin off date and since have them in a foreign account who gives a rats... about out withholding text, they will charge me too
