MyDx-2 R&D should REMOVE extrapolations and review each sensor goals, report only the smells.

Cannabis: Goal is to help customer identify strain that will give researched feelings
(goal is NOT to measure THC and CBD levels)

Liquid: Goal is to help customer determine if specific smells (chemicals) are present or not in the liquid sample, at which level, as a first line analysis to determine if further testing would be needed. And show/compare with Total Presence Profiles of chemicals in known liquids (Evian water, Fiji, AquaFina, New York water, Los Angeles Water, Chicago water, etc...) (from database)
(goal is NOT determine if liquid is PASS or FAIL safe for drinking).

Solid: Goal is to help customer determine if specific smells (chemicals) are present or not on the surface of the solid sample, at which level, as an indicator of presence. If, for example, pesticide is detected as being present, customer could take decision to consume or not.
(goal is NOT determine if food or cannabis is PASS or FAIL safe for consumption).

Air: Goal is to alert customer if specific smells (chemicals) are present in customer's house, as an indicator for action (either start air exchanger, or air purifier, to improve air quality in the house)

Cannabis testing:
The MyDx “tricorder” (CannaDx analyzer) DOESN'T need to report THC and CBD. It only need to help the consumer identify and find products.

For example, if I go buy some wine, would I need to test the alchool level in the product? NO. Measuring the alcool level is the responsibility of the wine maker, and it's already reported on the wine bottle. Just like with Cannabis, the growers are required to indicate THC and CBD levels, with true lab quality measures. The growers would never use a MyDx “tricorder” to measure and report THC and CBD levels on their product labels. And the customer doesn't need to measure THC and CBD with their “tricorder” because the official levels are already reported on the product labels.

But, as a customer, when I go buy wine, the product label doesn't really tell me if the product has smells/taste of oak, wildberries, apple, butter, etc. And the level of each one. But it is specifically that I'm looking for: specific tastes/smells levels in wine. Just like with Cannabis, I'm looking for a feeling that specific strains with specific levels of Terpenes (smells) could normally give me.

The current MAJOR problem with MyDx “tricorder” (CannaDx analyzer) is that it extrapolates many results from a database for those things like the cannabinoids, that don't have a smell. Remember, it's an electronic nose.

So what happens when a product pretends doing things it doesn't really do? Inevitably the NEGATIVE customers reviews start accumulating day after day after day BECAUSE of that MAJOR problem.

Just listen to this to have proof:

“... I will tell you guys tough that I was disapointed in reviewing it because there were several different areas where the company said that it could do different things, and then I found out it couldn't...”

So, how do we fix the MAJOR flaw in MyDx “tricorder” for cannabis?

1) We start being HONEST and we report ONLY the true readings (measures) of what we really measured with the instrument.

2) We show what we measured (things that are truly measurable by smell per electronic nose technology limitations and/or possibilities) and the values (the true readings from the “Tricorder”) (ZERO results coming from any database)

3) We show the results in SHADES OF COLORS or GRAPHIC, not in specific numbers. We don't have a HANDHELD LAB, we have a devices that detect smell levels. For example, if sensor smelled 0.19 mg/g for Myrcene, we don't show 0.19 mg/g, we show the level of Myrcene with a shade of color (light color if level is low, and darker color if level is high). That way, we show a smell PROFILE, not LAB RESULTS from smells. 4) We tell the customer the Total Terpenes Profile (TTP) (NOT the Total Canna Profile (TCP))

5) We tell the customer which feelings and two or three strains that are close to this TTP (per database), and where it can be bought (with geolocation).

6) We DO NOT tell the customer that the sample he put in the “Tricorder” is THIS specific strain, and we don't show any extrapolated results as being results coming from the “Tricorder”. We just can't know for sure, so we don't pretend we know (we are HONEST).

7) If we want to show THC and CBD levels, we show them with the two or three matched strains at step #5, and it is clearly visible that these values are not coming from the “Tricorder” but from an average of lab results, from external database.
