We all need to relax and just enjoy the ride next week. Remember that WMIH and escrow were different settlements and that we will see them happening in close proximity. This is just my take. The escrow accounts will be filled with cash and also be given stock in WMIH. Cash will amount to be 40 to 80 Bil. It Iooks like WMIH will be part of the current KKR USI Merger and may have already been merged in 2016 and used the 7 Bil NOL. The Special Account which held all of the MBS's was being distributed to many banks for .50 to .80 on the $. So if they had 228 Bil it probable reaped about 173 Bil to the estate. WMIH will get a portion of that to do Business as part of KKR and all will be satisfied. WMIH will go anywhere from $15 - 35, eventually. The Escrow is a sure bet but WMIH is not as could you see with the displeasure of Tepper the day before the election and the sale of half his position. He wanted it all for WMIH and Munchin said no, IMO! So sit back and watch, Sussman did his Job and Edgar was Brilliant although a little Rough in his confidentiality. :) This is based on no insider information.
“We are passionately committed to continuing and accelerating USI’s growth and investment as a leader in our industry, leveraging and innovating our unique USI ONE Advantage,” commented Michael J. Sicard, Chairman & CEO of USI. “We are excited to work with our new partners at KKR and CDPQ, and want to thank our partners at Onex for the tremendous support they provided to USI.”
The transaction is anticipated to close by the end of the second quarter 2017 subject to customary conditions including regulatory approvals."
