Re LDL ...yes lowering LDL still matters ...just not as much as previously thought .

I have questions tho about the FOURIER trial design that maybe AV or other bio stats posters could answer .....main one ...why run a CV Outcome trial for only 36 months of data ...median 24 mths ?

Why include Heart Failure as an end point and how did they control / verify recorded chest pain was in fact caused by restricted blood flow ( Angina ) and not caused by muscular / skeleton or Left Ventricle problems .


If anything , FOURIER tells me that they should run R-IT to completion
