I think you're too pessimistic here. The ANDA acceptance was on February 2, 2017. A due diligence needs a bit of time (in my experience 8-12 weeks). You visit eachother, negotiate, prepare contracts and finally you sign. In my business (not biotech) we need nearly 6 months from the first contact to a signed deal.

Personally I expect a Rexista deal to be closed in April. Why? Because in April we'll have clarification whether Purdue sued or not. That is very important for the concrete economic details of the agreement.

For the Roth conference: it wasn't even communicated (like last year). So maybe they planned their attendance and paid for it long before and it has nothing to do with a search for money. Furthermore, such conferences are often more for networking. I wouldn't interpret too much into it.
