I have always said I'd rather pay $1 for a share knowing it is going to $10 than to pay a $.10 and hope it makes it to $1

Whats the difference? They are both a Tenfold increase.
$1*10=$10 or $0.10*10=$1

And what about going from $0.10 to $10 ?
Thats a hundred fold increase, wait to get in at $1 and its a ten fold increase.

And what are the odds of making profit on your other investment?
It would mean you are able to do 4 sell/buy trades in a row and all of them are profitable.
Thats a 1 in 16 chance, or 6.25% chance of getting all 4 trades right.

But then again, Yo Da Man.
