Bolt Threads necktie promotion will run it's course and die out quickly - IMO. It's not an "earth shattering event" in the world of tech textiles and the performance promise that chimeric spider silk holds, although I'm sure Bolt is proud of their accomplishments.

KBLB created KNITTED fabric from MS in 2014. KBLB didn't bother to turn that fabric into mundane articles of clothing like neck ties at the time and PR a high fashion ? high cost item.

Bolt created 50 KNITTED neckties with $90MM in private equity investor capital. In the simplest of investment terms, each tie cost $1.8 million to make and retail for $ 315 each for a development (loss) on each tie of ($ 1,799,685).

STOP THE PRESSES !!! How can I invest in Bolt Threads ?
